A First-of-its-Kind Feature to Help You Assess Manager Performance, Build Repeatable Processes, and Optimize Your Coaching Strategy

What’s the first thing you do when you see revenue and rep performance begin to slide? Maybe you dig into individual numbers—but if you aren’t taking a closer look at your managers, you’re missing half the story. The question you should be asking is this: are your managers actually managing? If so, are they doing it effectively?

Ambition’s most recent Coaching Orchestration™ innovation, manager accountability analytics, makes it possible for you to answer that question. This first-of-its-kind feature gives Admin roles a direct line of sight into every manager activity in Ambition. This visibility provides insight into how well they’re managing and how you can begin to optimize your coaching programs accordingly. Managers have a powerful influence on rep success, and holding them accountable is necessary to ensure stronger rep performance.

Admins can easily access manager accountability analytics in the Coaching Overview tab to instantly see how many coaching check-ins were started, completed, or have expired. Admins can also compare weekly or monthly trends and sort and filter by lowest/highest completion rate to better understand coaching frequency and trends.

Use Cases for Manager Accountability Analytics

Too many revenue organizations spend significant time training managers on coaching strategy, providing templates and other enablement resources, and attempting to track the outcomes of their efforts with no way to see whether managers are actually putting those resources to good use. Manager accountability analytics changes this entirely. Now, revenue organizations can see exactly who’s putting their enablement into action, who isn’t, and how effective it is.

Here are several ways you can start using manager accountability analytics right now:

  • Assess your company’s overall coaching strategy: You might see that managers are coaching consistently and frequently, yet the team is still underperforming. This will prompt leaders to reevaluate and optimize their larger coaching strategy.

  • Assess manager performance: If a team isn’t hitting their numbers, Admins can look at the accountability tab to see if the manager is coaching and how consistently.

  • Build repeatable processes: Take note of which teams consistently hit their goals. Who’s managing those teams? The accountability tab will show you the daily coaching habits that lead to success so you can replicate those across teams.

  • Identify and respond to trends: If you notice sales tend to dip around the same time each month or during specific times of year, dig into manager accountability analytics to better understand why. Maybe this dip coincides with other manager commitments like retreats, board meeting prep, etc. How can you free up your managers so they are still able to prioritize coaching amidst other commitments?

Manager accountability surfaces valuable and actionable insights that will help you optimize your coaching programs more efficiently than ever. Learn more about our full suite of Coaching Orchestration™ tools here.
